Ms. Gerianna Massimini

Hi! I graduated from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA in 2009 with a B.S. in Music Education. I'm a percussionist, and my favorite percussion instrument to play is timpani. I have been teaching with the Archdiocesan Music Program since 2010.

Believe it or not, I'm a graduate of the Archdiocesan Music Program! I started playing percussion instruments in the 4th grade at St. Pius in Bowie, MD. Also, I attended Elizabeth Seton High School in Bladensburg, MD.

My favorite part of teaching is seeing how proud the students feel after playing a concert. After working on their music for months, the students can't wait to show their parents and friends what they've learned. For that reason, I'm honored to be a part of each and every concert.
